my story

Late summer in 2025, I was working in fast food as a manager and never had any time for myself. I was working long hours and when the days I had off came around, I found myself rotting away in my bed. I was unhappy, miserable and counting the hours until my next big event. One day, I decided to visit my father up in Northern QLD - Townsville to be specific. I originally planned to only go away for two months and return back to work after, hopefully feeling better. As the days came closer, I had a moment at work where I realised that if I didn't leave now - when would I? So I quit my job, went to Townsville and I didn't come back.
I found myself deeply connected to the ocean, not feeling calm until I was looking out at the endless sea in my father's sailing yacht. I yearned to go sailing, snorkeling and camping out on different islands in complete isolation. I realised something about myself; I was healing.
My father had been talking to me about meditation for a while but I never found myself choosing to, not until a moment with this boy I liked at the time. Things had gone south pretty roughly and I turned towards meditation. I created a book full of manifestations, meditation routines and used it as a personal diary. I learnt about myself - my MBTI, my Zodiac, my Element and that was when things took a turn. I was happy, I was focused, I was calm.
I didn't think I would be starting a massage course at 19, never thought i'd go back to school - yet I did. I had never really massaged anyone before but I loved recieving them because of how stress relieving it was and how human touch managed to encourage my mind to go quiet. I wanted to bring that feeling to other people.
I thought to myself, how can I mix all of this with my one true love - music. I found myself playing my guitar towards the sunset and to the moon - something about that connection humanity has with nature, i played into it and I was healing. I wanted to bring this to others, those who choose to listen, to relax, to breathe. Those who wanted to grow and heal, we all deserve it.
I decided to move back to Melbourne at the start of 2026 - i'm not sure why but it felt like something I needed to do. The life I spent living in Townsville had come too easy. Now I'm here with a goal, with an objective, a passion to help others heal and relax.
To connect, To live, To take time for ourselves. That's what I advocate.
